Clarinex

Claritin is antihistamine. It is prescribed for hay fever, hives and allergy and some other conditions treatment.

Consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking Clarinex. Notify your doctor of taking any other prescription and over-the-counter medicines. Also inform your medical specialist of pregnancy or nursing and such medical conditions as kidney disease or liver disease.

Use this medicine exactly as your doctor prescribed for you. You may take Claritin with or without food. Do not overdose if you missed your regular medicine intake. This medicine should be stored in dry and cool place at a temperature up to 25°C. Store it in tightly closed container.

Cautions

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine. Allergic reaction to loratidine may result in hives, hard breathing or dizziness. Clarinex is not recommended to pregnant and nursing women. Components of this drug pass to breast milk. Do not overdose. Do not take this medicine more often than prescribed by your medical specialist. Try to avoid using Clarinex with other prescription or over-the-counter medicines, especially containing antihistamines, before consulting your medical specialist.

Possible side effects

Contact your medical specialist in case if you noticed any signs of side effects after taking Clarinex. Usually the following effects take place:

• allergic reaction
• rapid heartbeat
• throat inflammation
• muscle pain
• dizziness
• fatigue
• nausea

If you take too much

Overdose may result in headache and rapid heartbeat. Apply for emergency help in your local poison control center in case if overdose intake occurred.

Additional information

Contact your medical specialist if this medicine doesn't work. Do not give your medicine to someone else. Keep this drug away from children and pets.
