Claritin

Claritin is antihistamine. It is prescribed for hay fever, hives and allergy treatment.

Consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking Claritin. Notify your doctor of taking any other prescription and over-the-counter medicines. Also inform your medical specialist of pregnancy or nursing.

Directions

Use this medicine exactly as your doctor prescribed. You may take Claritin with or without food. Do not overdose if you missed your regular medicine intake. This medicine should be stored in dry place at room temperature.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine. Claritin is not recommended to pregnant and nursing women. Components of this drug pass to breast milk. Do not overdose. Do not take this medicine more often than prescribed by your medical specialist. Taking Claritin may affect allergy test results. It is recommended to abstain from using this medicine before allergy testing.

Possible side effects

Check with your medical specialist if you noticed any signs of side effects, including:

• rapid heartbeat
• dizziness
• diarrhea
• nervousness
• wheezing
• stomach pain
• weakness/hyperactivity
• rush
• itching
• swelling
• headache
• dry mouth
• hoarseness
• fatigue

If you take too much

Overdose may result in headache and rapid heartbeat. Apply for emergency help in your local poison control center in case if overdose intake occurred.

Contact your medical specialist if this medicine doesn't work. Do not give your medicine to someone else. Keep this drug away from children and pets.
