Zyrtec

Zyrtec is taken to treat allergic conditions, which declare itself in sneezing, running nose, itching, etc. It is antihistamine class medicine.

Consult a doctor or pharmacist and read prescription label before taking Zyrtec. Follow the prescriptions strictly and do not take more than prescribed dose. This medicine is usually taken orally once a day.

Warning/Precautions

Side effects from using Zyrtec may appear in patients over 60 years old. Notify your doctor if you are pregnant. Zyrtec using does not affect human fetus, but components of this medicine pass into breast milk. It is not recommended to use Zyrtec if you are nursing mother.

Missed Dose

If you missed your regular dose wait for the next scheduled time to take tablet. Do not take two doses at once. Follow the dosing and intake frequency exactly under the prescription of your doctor.

Possible Side Effects

Call your doctor if your have or have had any of side effects listed below:

• difficulty breathing
• closing of your throat
• swelling of face or tongue
• sleepiness
• dizziness
• headache

Consult a doctor in case if some other side effects took place.

Storage

Medicine should be stored in dry place at about 20-30°C

Overdose

If the overdose was taken you may feel sleepy and weak. Get immediate medical care in case of overdose.

More information

Sometimes taking of this medicine may result in atony and dizziness, so you should keep away from driving a car and other alike activities. Try to reduce the amount of alcohol beverages.
