Lexapro

Lexapro is an antidepressant class medicine used to treat depression and generalized anxiety disorder.

Liquid medicine or tabled are usually taken once a day. Lexapro may be taken on empty stomach. Follow the prescriptions of your medical specialist. Do not increase or decrease prescribed dose. Do not start or stop taking this medicine without your doctor's approval. Do not stop taking Laxapro even if you feel much better.

Notify your doctor of having experienced any diseases or disorders like kidney disease, liver disease, seizures, mania or suicidal thoughts. Do not take Lexapro together with other certain prescription and over-the-counter drugs. Inform your doctor if you have experienced allergic reaction. Interaction of Lexapro and some other certain medicines may lead to unwished consequences. You may need to pass some medical test regularly. Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or nursing baby without first consulting to your physician. It is not approved that this drug is absolutely safe for human fetus.

If you missed your regular dose wait for the next scheduled time to take tablet. Do not take two doses at once. Follow the dosing and intake frequency exactly under the prescription of your doctor.

Consult your doctor, nurse or pharmacist in case of any side effects appearing during Lexapro treatment. Taking this medicine sometimes may cause:

• hypertension
• weakness
• dizziness
• headache
• nervousness
• changes in vision
• fever
• allergy
• nausea
• diarrhea
• insomnia
• loss of appetite

Sometimes taking Lexapro may lead to decreased sex drive and impotence. Call your doctor when any of side effects are bothering you.

Lexapro should be stored in dry and cool place at a room temperature.

Overdose

Get immediate medical care if you have taken more than prescribed quantity of this medicine. Overdosed Allegra may cause drowsiness, sweating, tremor, nausea, vomiting, dizziness or rapid heartbeat.

Lopressor should be taken only after consulting a doctor or pharmacist. This drug should be taken carefully if combined with other medicines. Keep away from taking this medicine few days before testing.
