Zyprexa

Zyprexa is used in mental disorders treatment.

Zyprexa is taken with or without food. Follow the dosing and frequency of taking directly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not double your scheduled dose if you missed a dose of Zyprexa. This medicine should be stored in cool and dark place at room temperature. Store it in tightly closed container. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Do not take this medicine more often than prescribed by your medical specialist. Taking Zyprexa may affect ability to drive and perform other potentially dangerous activities. Zyprexa is not approved to be absolutely safe for human fetus or newborn Components of this drug may pass into breast milk and affect newborn. Do not take Zyprexa if you are nursing baby. Do not take this medicine more often than prescribed by your medical specialist.

Warning for diabetics: You may need to check your blood sugar regularly. Discuss with your doctor possible risks of using this medicine if you have diabetes.

• constipation
• drowsiness
• dizziness
• dry mouth
• weight gain
• restlessness
• muscle spasms
• tremor
• difficulty swallowing
• unusual weakness
• painful erection in male
• increased urination in diabetics
• allergic reaction

Overdose may result in severe drowsiness, slurred speech, unconsciousness, rapid heartbeat and agitation. Apply for emergency help in your local poison control center in case if overdose intake occurred.

Do not give your medicine to someone else whom it is not prescribed. Keep this drug away from children and pets.
