Cipro

Cipro is used to fight against bacteria in the body.

Cipro is not recommended for using by childen under 18 years of age. Consult your medical specialist if you are taking any other prescription and over-the-counter medicines together with Cipro. Notify your doctor of taking clozapine, theophylline products, warfarin, cyclosporine, glyburide, phenytoin, probenecid, sucralfate, ropinirole, live vaccines, or quinapril. Infrom your medical specialist if you experienced any health problems including allergies, blood vessel problems, live disease, kidney disease, nervous system disorders or tendon problems. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

Directions

Follow the dosing and frequency of taking directly as prescribed by your doctor. Cipro may be taken with or without food. Check the details of Cipro treatment with your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. Avoid taking products containing magnesium, calcium or aluminum within 6 hours before taking Cipro. Interaction of Cipro and and some certain antacids and vitamins/minerals may prevent full absorption of this medicine. This medicine should be stored at a room temperature in cool and dry place. Keep it in tightly closed container away from light. To increase effect of Cipro treatment try to take your dose at the same time daily. If you missed your regular dose wait for the next scheduled time to take tablet. Do not take two doses at once. Follow the dosing and intake frequency exactly under the prescription of your doctor.

Cautions

Inform your doctor if you have experienced allergic reaction on the ingredients of this medicine. Allergy may result in hives, difficulty breathing or skin rush. Follow the directions of your doctor and do not start or stop taking Cipro without your medical specialist approval. Avoid direct sunbeams, use special protective cloths and sunburn creams. Reduce amount of tea, coffee, cola drinks and chocolate. Contact your doctor if you experience pain, rupture of a tendon or inflammation after taking Cipro. Notify your doctor of taking any other prescription or over-the-counter medicines. You may need to check your blood sugar regularly.

If you take too much.

Apply for emergency help in your local poison control center in case if overdose occurred.

Contact your medical specialist if this medicine doesn't work. Keep low-fat diet during Cipro treatment. Do not give your medicine to someone else whom it was not prescribed. Keep this drug away from children and pets.
