Cozaar

Common uses

Cozaar is used to treat high blood pressure. Also it is prescribed to treat diabetic kidney disease. Sometimes it is prescribed to treat some other medical conditions. Ask your doctor for details of using this medicine.

Before using

Do not use Cozaar if you are pregnant. This medicine has been reported to affect human fetus. Discuss with your doctor possible risks of using Cozaar if you are breast-feeding. Notify your doctor of other medical conditions.

Directions

You can take Cozaar with or without food. Follow the directions of your medical specialist. Do not exceed your regular dose. Cozaar should be stored in cool and dark place at a room temperature. Keep this medicine in tightly closed container. If you missed your regular dose wait for the next scheduled time to take tablet. Do not double-up your regular dose. Follow the dosing and intake frequency exactly under the prescription of your doctor.

Cautions

Warning for women: Contact your doctor if you become pregnant during treatment. Using Cozaar during pregnancy may lead to undesirable side effects and affect human fetus.

This medicine can affect ability to drive or perform other potentially dangerous activities. Try to avoid performing any hazardous activities while using Cozaar. Notify your doctor of using any other prescription or over-the-counter medicines.

If you take too much

Get immediate medical care if you have taken more than prescribed quantity of this medicine. Overdosed Cozaar may cause dizziness or fainting.
