How drug works

Active ingredients of Imitrex affect nerves and blood vessels.

How Taken

Take a dose of Imitrex when you experience migraine headache. You can take up to 200mg daily, but it is recommended to consult medical specialist first.

Possible Side Effects

Sometimes dizziness, fatigue and nausea appear when taking Imitrex.

It is strongly recommended to refuse to use Imitrex if you experience special medical conditions like Raynaud syndrome, heart disease, uncontrolled blood pressure and allergy to Imitrex components. Before using this medicine notify your doctor of having high cholesterol, diabetes or high blood pressure. Smokers should use Imitrex carefully.

Call your medical specialist if overdose occurred.

Drug Intercations

Notify your doctor of taking some other drugs including furazolidone, phenelzine, tranylcypromine, ergotamine or selegiline.

Missed Dose

It is not obligatory to take Imitrex regularly. Use this drug if you experience migraine headache.

Storage

Imitrex should be stored at a room temperature in a dry cool place.

Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
