Flomax

Common uses

Flomax is used to treat benign prostatic hyperthrophy.

Before using

Inform your doctor of having any other medical conditions (allergies, high blood pressure, etc.) Notify your medical specialist of using any other ED medicines (Viagra, Cialis, etc.) and alpha-blockers. Do not use this medicine without your medical specialist's approval.

Directions

Read carefully patient information leaflet. To increase the effectiveness of treatment it is recommended to take Flomax at the same time every day. Usually treatment lasts for one week. This medicine should be taken 30 minutes after meals. Do not exceed your regular dose. Do not crush or chew it. Take it as a whole. This medicine should be stored in cool and dark place at a room temperature. Keep Flomax in tightly closed container. If you missed your regular dose, wait for the next scheduled time to take tablet. Do not double-up your regular dose. Follow the dosing and intake frequency exactly under the prescription of your doctor.

Cautions

Do not start or stop using Flomax without your doctor's approval. Inform your doctor if medicine doesn't works. Flomax can affect ability to drive or perform other hazardous activities. Avoid performing potentially dangerous tasks during treatment. Drug-alcohol interactions may cause dizziness. It is recommended to lessen the amount of alcoholic beverages. Ask your doctor of possible risks of drug interactions. Notify your doctor of using any other prescription or over-the-counter medicines.

Possible side effects

Contact your medical specialist if any of side effects listed below took place:

• insomnia
• dizziness
• muscle weakness
• increased cough
• changes in vision
• drowsiness
• nasal congestion
• back pain
• abnormal ejaculation

If you take too much

Get immediate medical care if you have taken more than prescribed quantity of this medicine. Overdosed Flomax may cause dizziness, headache or fainting.

Do not give your medicine to someone else. Keep this drug away from children and pets. Ask your doctor for more details of using this medicine.
