Propecia is prescribed for patients with hair loss. It is not intended for women or children.

How Taken

Propecia should be taken once daily. This medicine comes in form of tablet, which should be taken orally. Do not exceed your regular dose. Ask your medical specialist for details of using this medicine. You may take Propecia on empty stomach or with food. Do not start or stop taking any medicines without your doctor's approval.

Warnings/Precautions

Notify your doctor of any other medical conditions (liver disease, pregnancy, breast-feeding). Using Propecia is not recommended to pregnant women. Propecia is proved to affect human fetus. Contact your doctor if your become pregnant while using this medicine. Broken or crushed Propecia can be absorbed through the skin. Discuss with your medical specialist possible risks of using Propecia during breast-feeding. It is not approved to be absolutely safe for newborn if you are breast-feeding. Do not use this medication without your doctor approval.

Missed Dose

If you missed your regular dose, wait for the next scheduled time to take tablet. Do not double-up your regular dose. Follow the dosing and intake frequency exactly under the prescription of your doctor.

Possible Side Effects

Contact your medical specialist or apply for emergency care if you experience any of the side effects listed below:

• allergic reaction
• hives
• closing of the throat
• difficulty breathing
• changes in libido
• changes in ejaculation
• hypersensitivity of breast
• breast enlargement
• sexual problems

Storage

Propecia should be stored in dry place at a room temperature below 86 degrees F. Keep this medicine in tightly closed container.

Overdose

Get immediate medical care if you have taken more than prescribed quantity of this medicine.
