Lioresal

Common uses

Lioresal is prescribed for muscle spasms (spinal cord or multiple sclerosis) treatment. Also it is sometimes prescribed for some other conditions treatment.

Consult a doctor or medical specialist before using Lioresal. Notify your doctor of any other prescription or over-the-counter drugs which you are using. Take this medicine exactly as directed. Do not stop taking Lioresal before your doctor's approval. Before using Lioresal inform your doctor of any medical conditions like allergies, seizures, kidney diseased or stroke.

Do not double your scheduled dose. Take this medicine exactly as your medical specialist prescribed. Lioresal should be stored in a tightly closed container. Store this medicine at room temperature in dark cool place.

Discuss all the details of using Lioresal with your doctor or pharmacist. Do not stop or start taking this medicine without approval of medical specialist. Taking Lioresal sometimes may cause dizziness and drowsiness. This drug may affect ability to drive and perform some other potentially dangerous tasks. Notify your medical specialist of pregnancy or breast-feeding. This medicine passes into breast milk and affects newborn.

Possible side effects

Apply for medical treatment or contact your doctor or pharmacist in case if any side effects from using Lioresal took place. Taking this medicine may result in:

• dizziness
• fatigue
• drowsiness
• headache
• nausea
• constipation
• vomiting
• weakness
• frequent urination
• blurred vision

If take too much

Overdose may result in weakness, slow breathing, seizures, drowsiness and vomiting. Apply for emergency help in your local poison control center in case if overdose intake occurred.
