Lamisil Oral

Lamisil Oral is used to treat onychomycosis of the toenail or fingernail.

Average dose of Lamisil is one tablet daily. Usually treatment lasts from 6 up to 12 weeks. Follow the directions of your medical specialist. Do not increase frequency of intake. Do not stop taking this medicine without your doctor's approval.

Consult medical specialist before using this medicine. Notify your doctor of having experienced blood problems, kidney disease, liver disease or problems with immune system. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Lamisil is not approved to do harm to human fetus, but it passes into breast milk and affects newborn baby.

Each dose should be taken at the same time each day. If you miss your dose, wait until the time of next dose. Never take 2 doses simultaneously. Try not to miss your regular dose.

Consult your doctor, nurse or pharmacist in case of any side effects appearing during Lamisil treatment. Taking this medicine sometimes may cause:

• allergy
• dark urine
• yellowing skin or eyes
• loss of appetite
• itching
• swelling of lips, tongue or face
• nausea
• upset stomach
• diarrhea
• headache
• vomiting
• fatigue
• abdominal pain

Lamisil should be stored in tightly closed container at a room temperature.

Lamisil overdose may cause vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain, frequent urination, headache and rash. Apply for emergency care or contact your medical specialist if overdose occurred.

Do not take Lamisil with alcohol beverages. This may lead to liver problems.
