Retin-A

Retin-A is used for skin treatment. Using of this medicine results in prefect appearance of skin.

Retin-A comes in form of liquid. Clean your skin thoroughly before applying medication. This medicine should be applied once daily. Do not use this medication more often than prescribed. Do not increase your daily dose. It does no affect final results. Do not stop using this medicine if you don't experience any results. Avoid using cleansers, medicated creams, lotions and abrasive soaps during Retin-A treatment. Wash your face with mild soap in order to avoid skin irritation. Ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain you the details of Retin-A treatment.

Avoid sun or sunlamps. It is not recommended to use this medicine if you are pregnant of breast-feeding. Use protective cloths and sunburn cream if you need to stay under ultraviolet rays for a long time.

If you missed your regular dose, wait for the next scheduled time to use Retin-A. Do not take two doses at once. Follow the dosing exactly under the prescription of your doctor.

Possible Side Effects

Apply for medical treatment or contact your doctor or pharmacist in case if any side effects from using Retin-A took place. Taking this medicine may result in:

• irritation
• sensitivity wind and cold
• hypersensitivity to one or more ingredients of the medicine

Storage

This medicine should be stored in dark place at a room temperature. Do not store this medication in bathroom.

Overdose

Overdose may result in peeling and redness of the skin. Sometimes celosias, abdominal pain, ataxia, dizziness or headache may occur. Do not apply excess dose of Retin-A.

More Information

This medicine is not recommended to pregnant women. It is not approved that Retin-A is absolutely safe for human fetus. Apply this medication only after your doctor approval. Often using Retin-A may result in skin irritation. It disappears after further treatment when your skin gets adjusted to medication.
